Agame Development Association

In the city of Adigrat, a library that had served for many years was completely destroyed and rendered unusable during the recent war. It is known that due to the damage it suffered, all its books and all the property inside were completely ruined, and the building itself was also damaged. Through concerted efforts and hard work to restore this library to its former state, with financial support from the Embassy of Ireland in Ethiopia and the organization Support Africa, it has been fully renovated and has returned to operation. The library is being modernized to provide digital library services (e-books, audio books, online research) and Wi-Fi internet service, and Adigrat University together with the Agame Development Association are jointly working on its establishment. The library was officially inaugurated and began its work in the presence of Bishop Abune Tesfaselassie of the Catholic Church of Adigrat, Dr. Gebremikael Woldegebriel (President of Adigrat University), Mayor Redae G/her of the city, Haylay Beyene (Deputy Head of the Tigray Tourism Bureau), and other dignitaries and guests.
